Volunteers urgently required : whale research and communications roles

Outreach International has been offered the exclusive opportunity to fill two exciting conservation volunteer roles in a whale watching ecotourism agency working on the long term monitoring of marine mammals.

The project is based in Mazatlan on the Pacific coast of Mexico, which offers a rich habitat for a variety of marine life, including sea turtles, sea lions, sharks, birds and dolphins, and a winter breeding ground for humpback whales.

The two opportunities to volunteer abroad are:

Whale Conservation Research Volunteer

and

Whale Conservation Communications Volunteer

See the project roles for full descriptions of these opportunities, suitable for a gap year student in marine biology, zoology, or an undergraduate or career break professional from communications and marketing.

Volunteers need to be in place by the end of December/beginning of January, for a minimum 2-3 month term.
