Volunteering for medical students and nurses

medical volunteer Nepal 6

Volunteering abroad can be about developing your vocational and professional experience, as well as helping others. On our recent visit to Nepal to review our projects, we revisited a community hospital providing affordable health care to the urban and rural poor. The hospital offers an opportunity to medical students and nurses to volunteer alongside the team and learn about the health issues endemic to the area and the medical challenges faced by a developing country such as Nepal.
